LIB has over 17 million subscribed shares, about 4.4 million of which are paid while the rest 13 million are still outstanding, expected to be fully paid in the near future. Shares administration of the Bank is handled by a separate unit, within the Finance and Treasury Department. It is headed by a shares administrator, assisted by a secretary. The Unit monitors the payments of subscribed shares in addition to handling issues such as shares transfers and shares related account maintenance and record keeping.
